  1. Blacklight: Retribution

Blacklight: Retribution is developed by Hardsuit Labs. It has a cyberpunk theme and possesses a certain similarity to Call of Duty mechanics.

However, the game doesn’t have a single-player mode unless you’re going to practice against AI or “bots”. But the multiplayer mode has a different type of maps and game modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Domination, Kill of the Hill, Kill Confirmed, Siege Mode, and Onslaught Mode. Each mode has unique mechanics and requirements to achieve victory.

Because the game is a sequel to Blacklight: Tango, certain items are back like Hyper Reality Visor (HVR) that allows players to locate enemies, mines, weapon depots, and many more.

Overall, nothing much can be said about this game but if you want an enjoyable, Call Of Duty-like game for free then you should check it out. Players can equip different weapons, buy perks and upgrades, and try out different game modes.

  1. Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars Battlefront is an online action shooter video game developed by EA Dice. The game is based on the Star Wars franchise and is a reboot version of the previous “Battlefront” series.

Players of the game can travel to different planets from the original Star Wars trilogy, such as Endor, Hoth, Tatooine, Bespin, and Sullust. Players also have the ability to use characters from the films like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and much more.

The game also allows players to customize and upgrade their weapons, characters, gears, and abilities. They also have the ability to share their weapons with their teammates.

The multiplayer is also interesting, where up to 40 players can compete against each other in 16 different multiplayer maps.

  1. Battlefield 4

Battlefield 4 is an action first-person shooter video game developed by EA Dice and is the sequel to Battlefield 3. Taking place six years after the events of its predecessor, it is set in a period where the tension between the United States and Russia is growing. The United States is forced to make a move before Russia overthrows China and becomes an overpowering force.

Battlefield 4 single player offers players an interesting new story, better gameplay, new mechanics, and even newer weapons. Players can even ride and control military jets to fight enemy soldiers. Definitely gives a whole new experience for returning players.

The multiplayer can hold up to a 64-player match and includes lots of new game modes. One of them is the “Commander Mode” where one player on each team can be the “commander” and will be given a real-time-strategy-like view of the whole map and the ability to give orders to teammates. There’s also tons of new maps to choose from such as Siege of Shanghai, Paracel Storm, Zavod 311, and much more.
Overall, Battlefield 4 has a lot to offer to both new players and returning players with its new and improved mechanics that can give players a whole new experience to the Battlefield franchise.

  1. Call of Duty: Black Ops III

The sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops II developed by Treyarch. CoD: Black Ops III is a military science fiction first-person shooter video game set 40 years after the events of CoD: Black Ops II. In the year 2065, the world has become too advanced and soldiers resorted back to doing most of the work on-ground, but it’s not as the same as before. This time, soldiers have the ability to use augmentations that allow them to become cyborg supersoldiers.

The game’s campaign mode has a cool 4-player cooperative gameplay that allows players to team-up for a bigger and easier gaming experience.

As for the multiplayer mode, players are given the ability to use thruster packs that allow them to perform slow boosts into the air, wall running, and sliding, while still having complete gun control.

If you want some fun zombie-killing experience, Zombie Mode also returns to Black Ops III that allow players to fight off zombies wave after wave.

Overall, the new Black Ops III looks futuristic with the augmented cyborg supersoldiers and gives a whole new meaning to the classic Call of Duty franchise. The new mechanics and weapons (plus the Zombie Mode) make this game a lot more exciting.

  1. Destiny

From the developers of Halo (Bungie) comes a whole new futuristic FPS game called Destiny. Destiny is an online-only first-person shooter video game that focuses on online gameplay with players teaming up to take quests or fight against each other in a PvP match.

The game’s story is updated and tweaked constantly and players can only choose between the two modes which makes this game seem a bit boring, However, Destiny has a lot else to offer. Players can create their own character and choose a class. These classes have their own unique features, strengths and weaknesses, upgrades, and special abilities. The game also features lots of time-limited events that gives awesome rewards and prizes for players.

Overall, the game is a bit underrated in my opinion, but it is really fun to play. Being able to fight against other players in space and different worlds makes it a lot cooler.

I highly recommend Overwatch. It might not be free-to-play but the price is worth it! The style of the game is really beautiful and the game mechanics are unique. It gives a whole new experience to traditional multiplayer FPS games. You can even customize your hero’s skins and weapons and even upgrade their abilities.

If you’re looking for a cool and bad-ass type of video game, then you should definitely play DOOM. With its gore and bloody graphics, it makes playing the game so much more fun.
